Our Name that Member! feature gave us the opportunity to learn just how well we really know each other. But how well do we know our church?
Here’s this week’s Did you know? Tuesday Trivia!
What year was the matter of having Deaconesses brought up?
From the Trustee minutes on December 2, 1930: Rev. Charles T. Damp led in prayer, after which the matter of having Deaconesses was brought up. Mr. Meister made the motion, seconded by Miss Daggett, that it be brought up at the meeting of the Women’s Union. Another interesting matter was the idea of having a church paper. Several were passed around and it was decided upon motion that Mr. Bodilly and Mr. Meister be appointed on the Committee to assist the pastor with it.
Did you guess correct, or did you learn something new?
Thanks for playing!
