May 18th, 2025 – Fifth Sunday of Easter Service
Led by Pastor Katie Estes, the service emphasized Jesus’ commandment in John 13:31-35 for his followers to love one another, presenting this as the defining mark of Christian discipleship. This powerful message was reinforced by the sermon titled “When You Love Each Other” and hymns like “They’ll Know We Are Christians By Our Love.” The worship explored how living out this foundational love fostered unity within the community and reflected the hope found in God’s presence.
May 11th, 2025 – Fourth Sunday of Easter & Baptism Service
Our service was a joyful gathering centered on God’s boundless love for us, as we were reminded that we are called God’s own children. We shared in a responsive Call to Worship and a unifying Prayer of the Day, inviting the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Spirit of love into our hearts.
We were especially blessed that Sunday to witness and celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism, marking a new step of faith for individuals in our community. We also had a special Time with the Children, nurturing the faith of our youngest members.
May 4th, 2025 – 150th Anniversary Kickoff Worship
This service invited us to seek and recognize God’s presence in our lives through responsive calls to worship, prayer, and confession. We engaged in prayers for illumination and confession, acknowledged where we fell short, and received words of assurance and forgiveness in Christ.
We dedicated our offerings to God’s work, praying they would extend love and support both locally and globally. The central part of our worship was the celebration of the Lord’s Supper, featuring the Great Prayer of Thanksgiving and the sharing of the bread and cup.
