January 25, 2026 – Return To Sanctuary Service – Sesquicentennial Story
Overview
Our first HD Service.
We gathered for a spirit-filled service of praise and gratitude on January 25, 2026. Continuing our 150th-anniversary celebrations, the morning featured a special Sesquicentennial Story shared by Dennis Siewert, followed by a liturgy that centered on God’s enduring love.
Uplifted by vibrant musical arrangements of “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee” and “Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing,” we turned our hearts to Scripture readings from Psalm 33 and Colossians 3:12-17, which called us to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts. Together, we sang, prayed, and reflected as we gave glory to God.
January 4, 2026 – Epiphany Sunday – “Searching For The Christ Child”
Overview
On Sunday, January 4, 2026, we gathered for a special Epiphany service to celebrate the light of God and the promise of a new year with the theme, “Arise, shine, a new day has come.” It was a beautiful morning of worship that featured a moving “Ritual of Letting Go,” during which we physically tore up the burdens of the past year to embrace a fresh start through God’s grace.
Nancy Siewert shared the sermon “Searching for the Christ Child,” and the service was filled with uplifting musical arrangements by Mark Hayes, favorite carols, and a shared time at the Lord’s Table for Communion; we invite you to watch the recording and find a new beginning with us.
